Casalana article is totally crafted by hand from a unique blend of the world’s finest and softest natural fibres—ultra fine wool and silk. The wool is from specially selected sheep from our Umbledah stud in Western Australia that produce incredibly fine fibre in the range 13 to 15 microns in diameter. The silk comes from villages in the Northern Thailand, renowned for their exceptional quality silks.
Years of cooperative research across the two countries into the best possible ways of spinning, dying, blending and weaving of these most glamorous fibres have culminated in a material like none other. You will enjoy a lifetime of pleasure from its lightness and warmth but particularly from the remarkable sensation of its softness and feel.
The quality of this article is exceptional and, of course, fully guaranteed but, because it is hand made from individual fleeces and batches of silk, no two fabrics are exactly the same. Yours carries a unique identification number with details of its manufacture.
